Sigurd Enghoff, Managing Director
Founder of Scientific Concepts in 2001. Sigurd successfully
carried the business through the 9/11 recession with
year-on-year growth. In 2005, with the "always up
for a challenge" attitude, he augmented the business from
its exclusive UK base and dealings with an office across
the globe in Bangalore, India.
He has a wealth of both commercial and
technical experience that has been exploited for
the benefit of Scientific Concepts' projects. Most
notably, he secured a long-running deal with Ford
Motors for embedded development services.
Prior to incorporating Scientific Concepts,
Sigurd was working with a Cambridge-based technical
consulting house on diverse projects including fibre
optics, micro-fluidic systems.
Educated in Denmark and the US, Sigurd holds an M.Sc.
in engineering and maintains a keen interest in his thesis
subject, neuroscience.
Ameen Sait, Director of Business Development
Ameen has an abiding interest in high technology and in
creative deal making in complex markets. He has had a
successful career in technology services, creating new
businesses for top-flight companies by building long-term,
strategic relationships.
Having lived and worked equally in Europe, the Middle-East
and Asia, Ameen has an unmatched flair for dealing with
inter-cultural matters in business, and has an exceptional
comprehension of international dealings.
Ameen joined Scientific Concepts as Director of Business
Development in 2005, with primary responsibility for establishing
and maintaining fruitful alliances with clients and partners
across the globe.
